about automation
Overview

Nobody wants to do the same thing every day, even if it’s easy. Mistakes occur, time is wasted, money is lost, and frustration builds.

IDM Consulting was formed to help businesses avoid these problems. We can help you improve the efficiency of your design processes by automating the mundane, repetitive, and boring tasks.

This frees up time for your staff to focus on new designs and/or more challenging, more interesting, and more rewarding projects.

AUTOMATION

• Eliminates errors
• Saves time
• Saves money
• Increases sales
• Delivers products faster
• Allows designers to focus on more challenging, interesting, rewarding projects
• Gives designers time to develop new products

Our Story

As the owner of IDM, Bill has always seen the benefits of automation.

As the owner of IDM, Bill has always seen the benefits of automation. Early in his career he recognized there were multiple ways to improve the efficiency of any CAD user/system. It might be as simple as creating more appropriate templates, or creating smart parts/shapes, or setting up keyboard shortcuts. It could be more involved like menu redesign, or configuration tables. Or it might be as advanced as macros, custom programs, or even a fully automated design system. He’s been involved in them all.
