Have you ever accidentally dragged the wrong control on a form, and then had to try to put it back in the right place? No? Must just be me, then.
Well, it is possible to prevent this happening. You can lock a control in position on a form and prevent accidentally moving it. Hopefully, you know you can do this using the padlock icon in the Forms List pane, as shown in the image below, but sometimes it’s a bit hard to find the control in the list.
Instead, simply select the control on the form and press Ctrl+L.
Likewise, pressing Ctrl+L will un-lock the selected control.
